Description Moving materials and men through the inaccessible lakes and woods of Patagonia, living with the carpenters, reusing the wood of an old house, has meant to push forward what for the Chileans is really still a frontier: the south. This transitory character reflects itself on the layout of the house that, in the manner of ancient constructions, presents a scarce dimensional, morphological and functional division of the spaces. A glass wall "follows" every space fusing them continually, following the layout of the wood, made of transparencies and penumbras, of stems that seem like a house’s hosts.
