Description The project focuses on the redefinition of the entrance square to the Roman Forum while not losing sight of the broader issue of the delicate relationship between archaeological excavations and the established city.

The adopted design criteria envisages the use of urban elements (archaeological and non-archaeological) as planimetric matrices through which the project establishes extension and limits, on which it organises the space for the new functions, and from which it draws the design of the paved surfaced.
